Africa-Press – Mozambique. PHC Software, a multinational specialist in software management, has reactivated a protocol with ISCAM – Higher Institute of Accounting and Auditing of Mozambique.
The protocol is aimed at the use of PHC software in ISCAM’s curriculum. The objective is to position the PHC software in the areas of accounting and finance and also to provide the necessary tools to young Mozambican accountants, fitting them to the current reality as well as boosting the implementation of software and digital transition in the country.
To this end, during the month of August, a training process took place for three members of the teaching group of the Computer-Assisted Accounting subject at ISCAM, with training on the ERP desktop modules of the PHC CS. Since this training, Computer-Assisted Accounting has been taught, in blocks of four hours a week.
“Initiatives such as this are fundamental for raising awareness among all Mozambican economic agents and we are very proud to be part of Mozambique’s modernisation path,” says Victor Cau, Business Development & Support Specialist at PHC Software. “In this sense, our priority is to ensure that students receive in-depth and correct knowledge about our software, focused on its ability to adapt to Mozambican companies and legislation.”
The objective was to review the methodology of the classes and refresh the functionality of the modules used during them. In addition to having PHC CS teaching licenses, ISCAM also has a laboratory named “PHC” and decorated with the brand’s values, where practical classes are held. This initiative reinforces brand recollection by future decision makers and influencers, such as accountants.
In Mozambique, the success of PHC Software is due to a combination of factors, but mainly linked to the company’s interest in strengthening the network of partners and adapting the software to local specificities. PHC products are adapted to legal issues, specific cultural and economic needs, among other regional characteristics. In this way, the objective is to have a locally adapted product and a strong and consistent network of partners to be consultants who closely monitor customers on a daily basis, always in close proximity to PHC.
PHC Software is now an ISCAM partner and a relationship of enormous trust has been created. This project was an opportunity for both organizations to strengthen their professional ties and move forward in a challenging project with a high impact.
