Africa-Press – Mozambique. The Ministry of Economy officially launched today, in Vilankulo, Inhambane Province, the second edition of the Mozambique Tourism Summit, one of the country’s leading forums dedicated to reflection on and promotion of the tourism sector.
The ceremony was led by the Minister of Economy, Basílio Muhate, and brought together members of the Government, private sector representatives, development partners, tour operators, investors, and other stakeholders across the tourism value chain.
The Mozambique Tourism Summit provides a strategic platform for dialogue between the public and private sectors, aiming to drive sustainable tourism development, promote investment opportunities, and strengthen Mozambique’s positioning – particularly Vilankulo – as a competitive destination regionally and internationally.
This second edition seeks to consolidate previous achievements, with a focus on debates around innovation, sustainability, financing, tourism promotion, and regional integration.
