Africa-Press – Mozambique. Thirty journalists from the province and city of Maputo participated in a training on electoral matters from Monday to Wednesday.

Regina Matsinhe, the spokesperson for the Technical Secretariat for Electoral Administration (STAE), stated that the objective of the training was to equip journalists with the tools necessary for unbiased and impartial coverage on October 9.

The training, which involved both public and private media organizations, covered key topics such as the electoral cycle, vote counting, and the responsibilities of journalists during the electoral process.

This training was organized by STAE in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
