Africa-Press – Mozambique. A 62-year-old woman was arrested in the Macurungo neighbourhood, in the city of Beira , Sofala province, at around 10:30 a.m. on Monday morning (08/08).
The detainee is allegedly a drug distributor in the neighbourhood.
She was reportedly arrested “in possession” of 11g of cocaine and 60g of heroin, which were meanwhile found in a small handbag covered with a blanket on the detainee’s bed.
The suspect is being held in Beira’s Central Jail.
