Africa-Press – Mozambique. Amazon saw its net sales rising 11% and income soaring 54% in the third quarter of this year, according to its financial results statement released Thursday.
US-based global e-commerce and tech major posted net sales of $158.9 billion for the three month period that ended Sept. 30, compared with $143 billion the same period of last year.
Net sales in North America increased to $95.5 billion from $87.9, while international segment rose to $35.9 billion from $32.1 billion annually.
Net income, meanwhile, jumped 54.5% to $15.3 billion in July-September period, from $9.9 billion the same period of 2023.
