Angola’s TAAG to increase Luanda flights to Cabinda, Maputo, Windhoek, Sao Paulo

Africa-Press – Mozambique. Angolan flag carrier TAAG will boost, from Sunday and in phases, flights to Cabinda, Maputo, Windhoek and Sao Paulo, the company said on Wednesday.

As of Sunday, weekly flights between Luanda and Cabinda will increase from 24 to 26 flights, with the additional routes to be operated on Saturday and Sunday by a Boeing 737-700 aircraft.

The Luanda-Maputo air links will be more frequent as of 2 October, with an additional weekly flight, bringing the total to four.

The additional flight will take place on Sundays with a Boeing 737-700 aircraft.

The flights between Luanda and Windhoek (Namibia) will increase their frequency from four to five flights as of 2 October, with the additional flight to be operated on Sundays (using a Dash 8-Q400 aircraft).

Between Luanda and Sao Paulo, in Brazil, flights will increase from three to four per week as of 5 November. The additional flight from LAD/GRU will be operated on Saturdays, and the return flight to Luanda will be made on Sundays by a Boeing 777-300 aircraft.

TAAG highlights the ” increase in flights to Portuguese-speaking countries (Mozambique and Brazil) and the Southern African region (Namibia), as well as Cabinda, one of the preferred domestic destinations,” of its passengers.
