Africa-Press – Mozambique. Communities in Massangena district, northern Gaza province, have been alarmed by large herds of buffaloes passing through residential areas and pastures in recent days.

The situation also worries authorities, who say that the presence of the buffaloes endangers residents’ lives, and can also spread diseases that affect cattle.

According to the District Administrator of Massangena, the buffaloes have destroyed more than 300 hectares of crops so far.
