Buffaloes sow panic in Gaza’s Chicuálacuala

Africa-Press – Mozambique. A youngster is fighting for his life after being attacked by a herd of buffalo in Chicuálacuala district in northern Gaza province.

One of the animals attacked him while he was grazing cattle, causing serious injury to his right thigh.

Another young grazer was also attacked but escaped with minor injuries.

The information was shared with Radio Mozambique by Chicualacuala administrator Cacilda Banze.

Banze said that the seriously injured young man is out of danger, but continues to need intensive care.

According to Banze, the buffaloes were from Limpopo Trans-Frontier Park, which includes Limpopo in Mozambique, Kruger in South Africa and Gonarezou in Zimbabwe.
