Africa-Press – Mozambique. The Governor of Cabo Delgado province, Valige Tauabo, on Monday visited the town of Mocimboa da Praia, where he inaugurated the new District Planning and Infrastructure Services (SDPI) building.
The all-new infrastructure was built within the scope of TotalEnergies’ social responsibility programme, and falls within the Cabo Delgado Reconstruction Plan.
Governor Tauabo explained on the occasion that the action was a clear demonstration of the government’s commitment to seeing that Vila de Mocimboa da Praia and its surrounding villages and communities have the best conditions to serve the population.
In order for them to have greater durability, Tauabo appealed to the beneficiaries to ensure the conservation and maintenance of the infrastructure.
Governor Tauabo was visiting Mocímboa da Praia town after laying the first stone for the construction of the road in the village of Senga, in Palma district.
