Africa-Press – Mozambique. The long-anticipated transition has been confirmed: Carlo Ancelotti will step down as Real Madrid manager to take over the Brazilian national team.
Following the final La Liga match against Real Sociedad on May 25, the Italian will officially begin his new role with the Seleção.
According to The Athletic, Ancelotti has already signed his contract and will lead Brazil through to the 2026 World Cup.
His appointment ends months of speculation and marks the beginning of a new chapter for both Real Madrid, now set to welcome Xabi Alonso, and Brazil, who hope the experienced coach can restore their international dominance.
