Africa-Press – Mozambique. Maputo Mayor Eneas Comiche says that the city council in the country’s capital will no longer seek to implement the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project, on the grounds that such projects have fallen into disuse in pioneering countries, reads a TVM report.
Instead, urban and peripheral roads will be expanded, and lanes dedicated to public transport will be created.
