Africa-Press – Mozambique. Eighty-eight citizens were detained by the police in Maputo city over the long weekend for violating Covid-19 prevention measures.
The figure was released this Monday, by the spokesman for the police in Maputo city, Leonel Muchina, in an exclusive interview with Rádio Moçambique.
Muchina said some neighbourhoods in Maputo city had been systematically transgressing prevention measures.
Police authorities in the city of Maputo meanwhile pledged rigorous inspection of compliance with measures aimed at combating the spread of Covid-19 in the capital.
