Africa-Press – Mozambique. A multi-sectoral delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Ludovina Bernardo, on April 29 visited the districts of Mocimboa da Praia and Mueda within the scope of monitoring the implementation of the Cabo Delgado Reconstruction Plan.
The delegation visited parts of the commercial and industrial network, the Port of Mocimboa da Praia, destroyed district public infrastructure, the construction site of the Mocimboa wholesale market and interacted with beneficiaries of the Programa do Relançamento do Sector Privado (PRESP) who have already returned.
During the visit, Ludovina Bernardo encouraged the voluntary return of economic agents, consulted the private sector and urged the revitalisation of economic activity support services such as the Single Service Desk (BAU), the Revolving Fund for agricultural commercialisation, among others.
