Africa-Press – Mozambique. The Minister of Economy and Finance, Max Tonela, has met the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Mozambique, Álvaro Massigue, to hear the institution’s view on the management of the national economy.
The meeting is part of a series that Tonela is holding with different strata of society.
Minister Tonela was interested to hear from Álvaro Massingue what the private sector thought could be done to help it through the crisis plaguing the country, due to various internal and external shocks.
Other staff from the Chamber of Commerce of Mozambique also participated in the meeting.
The week before last, Minister Tonela heard from representatives of civil society their suggestions on possible measures to alleviate the high cost of living.
