Africa-Press – Mozambique. LAM started flights on the Maputo-Lusaka and Lusaka-Harare routes on Friday, 30 June, 2023.
The inaugural flight carried Minister of Transport and Communications of Mozambique Matteus Magala andZambian Minister of Transport and Logistics Frank Tayali.
As per aviation tradition, the inaugural LAM flight was greeted with the traditional water cannon salute.
Flights on this route are on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays departing Maputo at 12:30 p.m., arriving in Lusaka at 15:50 p.m..
The returning Lusaka flights depart at 16:30 p.m., arriving in Maputo at 19:50 p.m..
Flights on this route are served by an Embraer 145 aircraft.
