Africa-Press – Mozambique. The Minister of Public Works, Water Resources and Housing, Carlos Mesquita, today announced the start of the contracting process for the launch of a metal deck on the bridge over the Revúbuè River, in Tete province, which was damaged last January following tropical storm Ana.

The collapse of the bridge, located in the road linking the cities of Tete and Moatize, collapsed, left a gap of approximately 120 metres.

Mesquita further assured that a significant part of the road sections damaged as a result of the storm Ana have already been repaired through emergency works carried out in the provinces of Niassa, Nampula and Zambézia, the latter being the most affected by the storm.
