Africa-Press – Mozambique. On Friday, July 11, Minister of Economy, Basílio Zefanias Muhate, swore in new officials to leadership positions in various ministry directorates and departments, taking another important step toward strengthening the institution’s effectiveness and responsiveness.

Those sworn in are tasked with driving Mozambique’s sustainable economic development with responsibility, commitment, and team spirit.

They are:

Danilo Bay – General Director of the One-Stop Service Counter Institute (iBAU, IP);
Claire Mateus Filipe Correia Zimba – National Director of Tourism;
Bento Alexandre Nhassengo – National Director of Games of Chance;
Eriksson Anacleto Rodrigues Duarte – National Director of Industry;
Joel Nhassengo – National Director of Commerce and Services;
Lázaro José Macuacua – National Director of Legal Affairs and Litigation;
Isabel da Silva – Deputy Director-General of the BAU, IP;
Jeremias Manussa – Advisor to the Minister;
Abílio Simão – Advisor to the Minister;
Osvaldo Proto Américo Cassamo – Advisor to the Minister;
Arone Malate – Chief of the Minister’s Office;
Maria das Dores Salvador Machaieie Madroba – Head of the Autonomous Central Department of Administration and Finance; and
Angelina da Silva – Head of the Autonomous Central Department of Human Resources.
In his speech, the minister urged the new team to give of their best, focusing on excellence and a commitment to the progress of all Mozambicans.
