Africa-Press – Mozambique. Mozambican sailors Denise Paruque and Alcídio Lino have not taken part in the Sailing World Championship as intended, as a result of being unable to assemble their boat.

After the exclusion of Denise and Alcídio, Deyse Nhaquile is the only Mozambican participating in the Sailing World Championship being held in The Hague, The Netherlands.

‘Notícias’ has learned from the president of the Mozambican Sailing and Canoeing Federation, Alberto da Rosa, that Alcídio Lino and Denise Paruque disembarked in the Netherlands on August 9th for the competition, which started on the 11th, but the constituent parts of their craft were never delivered by the airline charged with doing so.
