Africa-Press – Mozambique. The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, has appointed Josefina Beato Mateus Mpelo to the post of Minister of Combatants.
A statement from the presidency states that the newly appointed minister holds degrees in Accounting and Auditing from the Higher Institute of Science and Technology Alberto Chipande and in Public Administration from the Catholic University of Mozambique.
Until the date of her appointment, Josefina Mpelo was the head of the Administration and Finance department at the National Institute for Refugee Support in the Cabo Delgado delegation.
Josefina Mpelo replaces Carlos Siliya in the post.
