Africa-Press – Mozambique. The President of the Republic is today paying a working visit to the provinces of Sofala and Niassa.
In Sofala, President Nyusi has led the closing ceremony of the nineteenth Rapid Intervention Basic Course and the second Basic Course of the Police of the Republic of Mozambique at the Lietenant General Oswaldo Assael Tazama,Police Sergeant’s School in Nhamatanda [ESAPOL].
The courses are part of the Disarmament, Demobilisation and Reintegration of former Renamo guerrillas (DDR)process in progress in the country.
In Niassa province, the head of state is inaugurating the Cuamba-Muíta section of the N13 National Road, as well as other recently rehabilitated roads in Cuamba city.
President Nyusi is accompanied by the Ministers of the Interior, Arsénia Felicidade Félix Massingue, and of Public Works, Housing and Water Resources, Joao Osvaldo Machatine.
