Africa-Press – Mozambique. Traffic is restricted from today (June 30) on Mozambique’s National Road Number Six (EN6) , which connects the city of Beira and the border with Zimbabwe at Machipanda.
Work installing two elevated sections to facilitate the drainage of rainwater will start on Wednesday for a period of 60 days.
The construction is taking place on the stretch of EN6 road between the Púngoè river and the town of Nhamatanda in Sofala province.
This section of the road will be closed, with vehicles directed to a detour which has been opened in the area, according to a statement from the National Roads Administration (ANE) cited by Radio Mozambique.
