Mozambique’S President Daniel Chapo has Arrived in Zimbabwe for SADC Extraordinary Summit

Africa-Press – Mozambique. Mozambique’s President Daniel Chapo has arrived in Zimbabwe for the SADC Extraordinary Summit on DRC. President Chapo was welcomed at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport by the Minister of Defence, Honourable Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri, and Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to Mozambique, Ambassador Victor Matemadanda.

Botswana-s President Duma Boko has also touched down and was received by Tourism and Hospitality Industry Minister Barbara Rwodzi.

Tanzania’s President and chairperson of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Organ Troika on Politics, Defence and Security.Cooperation Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan and Madagascar-s President Andry Rajoelina have arrived earlier today.

The summit brings together regional leaders to deliberate on pressing security and political matters within the SADC bloc, particularly concerning stability in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
