Africa-Press – Mozambique. The Government has assured that Mozambique has enough wheat stocks to meet the country’s needs until this June, Rádio Moçambique reports.
The Minister of Industry and Commerce made the announcement this Friday in Tete. explaining that, unless a solution is found to put an end to the war between Russia and Ukraine – two of the world’s largest wheat producers – there may be shortages of this product in Mozambique as from next July.
Silvino Moreno explained that, to prevent this crisis from affecting our country, the government has instructed wheat importers and distributors to make reserves of the product.
