Starting January 5, the city of Maputo will commence the collection of various municipal taxes at 15 service counters throughout the municipality. Taxes include the Municipal Vehicle Tax, Municipal Property Tax, Municipal Personal Tax, and Cleaning and Advertising Fees. The Maputo City Council has also opened nine bank accounts for residents to facilitate tax payments.
Africa-Press – Mozambique. This Monday, January 5th, collection of various municipal taxes begins in the city of Maputo, at 15 service counters and posts across the municipality.
These include the Municipal Vehicle Tax (IAV), Municipal Property Tax (IPRA), Municipal Personal Tax (IPA), and the Cleaning and Advertising Fees.
To facilitate payments, the Maputo City Council has opened nine bank accounts across several commercial banks, where residents are required to deposit or transfer the amounts corresponding to their tax obligations.
