Africa-Press – Mozambique. The provinces of Manica, Sofala, Tete and much of Zambézia, Gaza and Inhambane are forecast to experience normal or slightly above normal rainfall in the next three months.
According to the weather forecast for the current rainy season released this Tuesday, normal rains are expected in Niassa and Maputo provinces, as well as small parts of Cabo Delgado, Nampula and Zambézia provinces in the same period.
As for maximum temperatures, the National Institute of Meteorology (INAM) predicts above-normal figures for much of Cabo Delgado province, north-eastern Niassa and the far north of Nampula province.
For the provinces of Manica, Sofala, Gaza, Inhambane and most of the provinces of Tete, Zambézia and Maputo, normal or slightly lower maximum temperatures are predicted.
