Africa-Press – Mozambique. The Standing Commission of the Assembly of the Republic has authorised the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, to pay a state visit to the Republic of Uganda from 27 to 29 April, at the invitation of his Ugandan counterpart, Yoweri Museveni.
Spokesperson Alberto Matukutuko made the announcement at the end of the XXXIV Extraordinary Session of the Standing Commission, whose agenda item was consideration of the request for authorisation made by the head of state under article 194, paragraph F, of the Constitution of the Republic, to travel to that friendly country.
