Parliament Speaker visits Cuba

Africa-Press – Mozambique. Mozambique’s parliamentary speaker Esperança Bias is paying an official visit to Cuba from today until Tuesday (11-06), at the invitation of the president of Cuba’s National Assembly of Popular Power, Esteban Lazo Hernandez.

The President of the Assembly of the Republic is accompanied by the heads of the Frelimo, Renamo and the Democratic Movement of Mozambique (MDM) parliamentary benches, respectively Sérgio Pantie, Viana Magalhães and Lutero Simango.

During her stay in Cuba, Bias will hold an official meeting with her Cuban counterpart, visit economic enterprises and places of cultural and scientific interest, in addition to being received, in a courtesy meeting, by the President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Diaz Canel.
