Africa-Press – Mozambique. It is an electoral rule that, immediately after a vote count, notices of partial vote count (‘editais’) are posted in a visible place. However, in some polling stations in the City of Maputo, such documents no longer exist.

This happened, for example, at Albazine Secondary and Polana Caniço B Primary schools.

As ‘O País’ found out at the scene, result sheets were actually posted, but on Thursday morning, individuals so far unidentified removed them all.

At Escola Secundária Josina Machel, of the five polling stations, only two had the ‘editais’ posted.

The official results in these polling stations can now only be consulted through the data written on the board.
