Africa-Press – Mozambique. The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, this morning welcomed, at the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, his counterpart from the Republic of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, who arrived in the country on Sunday.
The three-day visit comes in response to an invitation made by Filipe Nyusi, and is part of the “reinforcement and deepening of the historical ties of brotherhood, solidarity and political, economic, social and cultural cooperation between the two countries”, according to a Presidency statement.
During the next three days, the heads of state will review the political, economic and social situation of their countries, as well as exchange views on issues of common interest in Southern Africa, the African continent and the world in general.
