Africa-Press – Mozambique. The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, yesterday swore in Eduardo Mussanhane as the new governor of Inhambane province, replacing Daniel Chapo, the Frelimo presidential candidate in the October 9 elections.
Prior to his new appointment, Mussanhane served as Speaker of the Inhambane Provincial Assembly.
The inauguration ceremony took place at the office of the Presidency of the Republic in Maputo.
