Africa-Press – Mozambique. The Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM) last week arrested the director of the Basic School in the town of Pinda, Morrumbala, Zambézia province, who stands accused of having raped a 17-year old female student of his.
The accused was arrested by the National Criminal Investigation Service (SERNIC) in the middle of the party session, under a warrant issued by the Judicial Court of Morrumbala.
The information was provided by Zambézia spokesperson for SERNIC, Maximino Amílcar.
The source called the crime one of sexual freedom, noting that the accused had been systematically raping the minor since February.
