Africa-Press – Mozambique. Inhambane province will receive ten articulated tractors to facilitate the transportation of people and goods between rural and urban areas, it was announced at the celebrations of the 69th anniversary of Inhambane’s elevation to city status.
The articulated tractors are expected to arrive in the coming days, and will be allocated to the districts of Funhalouro, Panda, Mabote, Inhassoro and Govuro, where connections between the rural areas and the district headquarter towns are particularly poor.
Authorities in Inhambane hope that the articulated tractors will also facilitate the flow of produce and trade between rural and urban areas.
