Africa-Press – Mozambique. The Governor of Tete, Domingos Viola, this Monday (28-11) delivered some of the promised Land Use and Benefit Right (DUAT) titles in Ndaula, Dómuè administrative post, Angonia district, within the framework of the presidential “Terra Segura” initiative.
Governor Viola on the occasion highlighted the importance of DUATs in the management of land conflicts and in providing greater security of tenure, appealing to farmers to make rational use of the land in order to serve future generations.
The governor professed himself satisfied with the level of development seen in Angónia district, but challenged farmers to produce a greater variety of crops.
