Africa-Press – Mozambique. Tottenham Hotspur confirmed on Monday that Son Heung-min’s current deal has been extended until the summer of 2026.

“We are delighted to announce that we have exercised the option to extend Heung-Min Son’s contract, which will now run until the summer of 2026,” Tottenham said in a statement.

“Having joined the Club in August, 2015, Sonny, 32, has become a global star during his time with us and a modern-day great for Tottenham Hotspur,” it added.

Since joining from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015, Son has gone from strength to strength in Lilywhite, appearing in 431 games and ranking 11th in the club’s all-time appearances list while scoring 169 goals, the fourth most in Tottenham’s history.

The 32-year-old was a key member of the squad that reached the UEFA Champions League Final for the first time in 2019.

The South Korean winger scored seven goals and made six assists in 23 matches in all competitions for Tottenham this season.
