Africa-Press – Mozambique. On Tuesday, 17th March, the European Union Military Assistance Mission in Mozambique (EUMAM MOZ) successfully concluded the Train-the-Trainers (TtT) programme at the Mozambican Defence Armed Forces’ (FADM) Army School.
Over the past three weeks, this programme has enhanced the pedagogical skills of 39 officers, sergeants, and enlisted personnel assigned to training and instruction roles. Through specialised modules in sappers, Military Operations in Urban Terrain, and physical training, participants have developed the necessary expertise to conduct future courses at the Army School within the FADM training framework.
Upon completion of the programme, the attendees are now able to independently plan, execute, and oversee training activities, ensuring the effective transfer of knowledge to future generations of FADM personnel.
EUMAM MOZ is a military assistance mission with a non-executive mandate. The main aim is to help the FADM to develop the necessary and sustainable capacities to restore safety and security in Cabo Delgado by providing them specialised training, mentoring and advising.
