Africa-Press – Mozambique. About 150 Chelsea and Manchester City fans who have previously been subject to Football Banning Orders will be unable to attend the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in the US from June 15 to July 13, 2025, according to British media reports.

According to the new legislation, which went into effect on Wednesday, fans with bans must surrender their travel documents, including passports, or face up to six months in prison or an unlimited fine.

The event, which FIFA will organize for the first time using a new system, will feature 32 clubs in total.

The teams will be divided into eight groups of four and will compete in a single match.

Those who finish first and second in their group will face off in the subsequent rounds using the single-match elimination procedure.

The FIFA Club World Cup champion will win a prize money of $125 million, while the 32 participating clubs will be awarded $1 billion.
