Africa-Press – Mozambique. The president of the Democratic Revolution Party (RD), Vitano Singano, was released from the Civil Prison today, after seven months in detention.
Singano was indicted for leading an alleged conspiracy against state security, which included an invasion of Ponta Vermelha, the official residence of the President of the Republic.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office accusations also allege that Singano had recruited members of the Defence and Security Forces.
