Africa-Press – Mozambique. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg confirmed that WhatsApp is working on more emoji reactions for its users.
“We’re rolling out the ability to use any emoji as a reaction on WhatsApp,” he said in a Facebook post.
The new development comes just a few months after WhatsApp added the ability to react with only six emojis.
The feature which is accessible by holding down the message you want to react to before a menu with all emoji reactions pops up.

The app will include a plus icon that lets you add more emoji reactions. The new feature has been spotted in Beta versions on both iOS and Android.
It is expected to be globally available in the coming weeks.
The first emoji reaction feature was rolled out in March.
This comes after it launched features like Android to iPhone chat transfer and the ability to hide your last seen and profile picture from specific people.
