AfricaPress-mozambique: Road traffic on the R448 Macarretane bridge in Gaza province will be suspended for all vehicles from this Thursday (June 10) to next Tuesday (June 15), a statement issued by the National Roads Administration (ANE) reads.
The suspension will permit maintenance and the re-concreting of one of the bridge decks.
The ANE recommends detouring via the Macarretane-Chókwe-Guijá-Caniçado-Chinhacanine road, but notes that articulated [semi-trailer] vehicles are prohibited on the Canicado-Chinhacanine stretch.
