Africa-Press – Namibia. AUDRIN Mathe, the Executive Director of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, has outlined the ministry’s commitment to bolstering cyber resilience and enhancing the security of online platforms.

The executive director made these remarks during the ongoing 2023 Digital Government Africa Summit in Lusaka, Zambia.

Addressing the audience at the summit, Mathe affirmed that the Information Ministry is actively engaged in the full-scale implementation of two crucial initiatives: The Electronic Transaction Bill of 2019 and the National Cyber Security Strategy.

These endeavours, he noted, mark a significant stride towards fortifying digital safety and strengthening the nation’s cybersecurity landscape.
