President Nangolo Mbumba has returned to Windhoek after attending two international summits: the Africa Fertilizer and Soil Health Summit in Kenya and the 2024 World Hydrogen Summit and Exhibition in the Netherlands. President Mbumba announced that the Africa Fertilizer and Soil Health Summit led to the adoption of the Nairobi Declaration, demonstrating Africa’s strong commitment to advancing agriculture and ensuring food security for its people. He also mentioned that during the World Hydrogen 2024 Summit and Exhibition, he held discussions with Dutch officials, securing significant commitments from the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium to purchase green hydrogen from Namibia once production begins.
