Africa-Press – Namibia. ALL 19 students who sat for the Cambridge A Level examinations at St George’s Diocesan School in 2022 have passed.
Their results were released on Tuesday.
Rene van Niekerk, the head of St George’s College, shared this with The Namibian on Wednesday.
“The majority of them did extremely well and are looking to study overseas in Australia, the United States of America and England,” she said.
The top student according to Van Niekerk, scored an A* which is 90% and above in mathematics, chemistry, physics and biology, while 12% of the pupils scored an A, and 35% a B is most subjects.
This is the biggest group of A Level students for the school since its introduction four years ago.
Van Niekerk said this is because the majority of students prefer to go to university once they have completed Grade 12.
Private School Swakopmund, which also offers A Levels received their results, while the Cambridge IGCSE Grade 12 results results will be released on 18 January.
