Africa-Press – Namibia. DUE to malfunctioning landing gear the pilot of a Beechcraft Bonanza A36 had to make a belly landing at the Eros Airport in Windhoek this morning. The pilot and owner of the private plane with registration V5ELZ was reportedly the only occupant and escaped unharmed.
He took off from a farm in the Gobabis district and landed at Eros around 8:45. The fire brigade and maintenance crews removed the plane from landing strip 01 after the incident.
