Africa-Press – Namibia. Coastal-giant Blue Waters SC has relieved both head coach Uerikondja ‘Mammie’ Kasaona and assistant Steven Damaseb of their duties with immediate effect.

Blue Waters SC in a statement released this week says the development is part of a broader plan to restructure the technical team to ensure stability and continuity for the players and supporters.

Former Blue Waters goals poacher Armando Pedro, assisted by Thomas Mvula, will be in charge of the team until the end of the season.

The team’s executive thanks both Kasaona and Damaseb for their hard work and dedication throughout their time with the club.

Blue Waters SC is seated 10th on the log with 21 points.

The coastal outfit will play Bucks Buccaneers and Okahandja United FC this coming weekend.

Kasaona is the only female coach in the history of the Namibia Premier Football League to be shown the door since the establishment of the league.

Kasaona clinched the annual Nedbank Namibian Newspaper Cup title with the Kunene regional under-20 men’s team in 2025.
