Africa-Press – Namibia. A BOY (8) in the Omusati region died on Thursday after an anthill collapsed on top of him.
According to the police, the incident took place at Onembaba village where a neighbour of the boy was excavating sand from the anthill. “The incident allegedly happened while the old man was ferrying anthill sand with a wheelbarrow onto a field, and the deceased probably got close to the hill, which then collapsed onto him as a result,” a police report states. The boy has been identified as Johannes Nghilifavali. His family has been informed of his death.
