Africa-Press – Namibia. IN a show of support and admiration for the City of Windhoek’s Bulk Water and Wastewater Division, Moses Matyayi, the CEO of the city, paid a visit to their operations on October 16.

According to the City of Windhoek, Matyayi’s visit included a tour of the Gammams wastewater treatment facility, located near the Goreangab Dam. During the tour, he discovered that the City’s water laboratory has achieved SADCAS accreditation, signifying the highest standards of quality in the region. This accreditation provides solid evidence that the water services in Windhoek adhere to rigorous quality standards, ensuring the best possible water for its residents.

In recognition of this achievement, Matyayi underlined the importance of acknowledging the city’s successes. “This is one of our remarkable accomplishments, and it deserves commendation,” he emphasized.

Matyayi also took the opportunity to address the dedicated staff of the division. He stressed that every member of the organization, from the highest-ranking executives to the janitorial staff, plays a vital role in achieving the City of Windhoek’s mission and vision.

He encouraged all employees to continue working together to provide excellent service, ensuring the city’s mission to become a sustainable and caring city by 2027 becomes a reality.
