Africa-Press – Namibia. THE Ministry of Justice and Labour Relations has opened condolence books at its head office and at the Office of the Prosecutor General following the tragic death of state prosecutor Justine Shiweda, with senior officials and staff paying tribute to her service and legacy.

Executive Director Dr Audrin Mathe officially opened and signed the condolence book at the ministry’s head office, as colleagues gathered to honour the late prosecutor. Staff members observed a moment of silence in remembrance of Shiweda, who died following a violent attack.

Dr Mathe expressed sympathy and words of comfort to grieving colleagues, describing Shiweda’s death as a profound loss to the justice sector.

Members of the public have been invited to pay tribute to the late prosecutor by leaving messages of remembrance in the condolence books available at the ministry’s offices and at the Office of the Prosecutor General.

Shiweda is remembered as a dedicated legal professional, and colleagues said her passing has left the justice community in mourning.
