Africa-Press – Namibia. A NUMBER of City of Windhoek (CoW) employees took part in an onsite Covid-19 vaccination drive at work recently, encouraging others to follow their example.
During the just-concluded, first round of the voluntary drive, CoW employees were also allowed to bring their family members to get vaccinated. According to Tanya Verwey, CoW Wellness Officer, the most popular vaccine during the campaign was the single-shot Johnson & Johnson.
“We are happy with the turnout and decided to reward the first employee at each of our vaccination points with a health hamper,” said Verwey. The onsite vaccination drive will continue in November.
