Africa-Press – Namibia. CHANGE is everything, and when a person is ready to change blessing shall surely follow.
This was demonstrated by Christ Victory Ministry of All Nations (Cvmoan).
They embarked on the construction of a new four-bedroom house for Ester David (37), an ex-member of local thieves gang and a resident of Omashaka in Ondangwa.
David, who comes from a family of six, will no longer have to struggle with proper shelter. They are getting a new house for free. Electricity is included in the package.
Cvmoan Lead Pastor, Sem Abiatar, said that the best investment one can make is to love others unconditionally and unwavering without expecting anything in return.
“We want to create a long-lasting solution for David and her family,” he said.
Abiatar added that the construction of the house for David is the first step to assist her to turn her life around.
Abiatar said that Cvmoan has constructed ten houses to ten families, with the eleventh house to be handed over this coming Sunday.
Cvmoan also plans to assist David to start a small business to generate income.
*We do this with the aim of making Namibia a better country and showing love to the people,” said Abiatar.
He added: “It is important to know where one comes from, and the grace of the Lord shall surely be upon you every day of your life,” he said.
He noted that they might not be able to help everyone at the same time, but they will try to make a different in the lives of many Namibians.
David narrated that stealing was the only way she saw to feed her family, but she has now repented and has turned away from criminal life.
“I joined the crime world when life was difficult for me and I had no other way of making a living,” she said, adding that she eventually turned her life around, started attending church and gave her life to Christ.
