A fire destroyed a shop and three flats at Narraville, Walvis Bay, on Thursday morning.
The fire started at about 01h05, in Mermaid Street, erf 19 at the Oasis supermarket.
According to Erongo police unit commander for community affairs, inspector Ileni Shapumba, it is suspected that the fire started at the back of the shop, where the blocks of flats are also located.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
There were no people in the shop at the time of the fire.
No injuries or loss of life was recorded, but there is damage to the building.
Police investigations continue.
